How to Donate Furniture

Service Areas:   If you live in McLean, Falls Church, or Arlington, we offer free Saturday morning furniture pickups generally between 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Share maintains a waiting list for furniture pick-ups and deliveries.  We rely entirely on volunteer drivers and helpers and are generally unable to accommodate last-minute requests.  â€‹We accept basic furniture in good condition suitable for small apartments.  We cannot accept oversized, very heavy, glass, or purely decorative items.  Share can only accept furniture that clean, free of pet hair, and does not require repair or refinishing.

How to Donate Furniture:

1. Review our acceptable items list below.

2. Complete our Donor Form and include photos of your items.

3. A volunteer will contact you to schedule a time for pickup.
