BACK-TO-SCHOOL PROGRAM

Most needed items are:

​

  • Crayola markers (thick & thin)

  • Crayola colored pencil packs

  • Crayola crayons (NOT CURRENTLY NEEDED)

  • #2 pencils

  • sticky notes

  • highlighters

  • erasers

  • white board markers

  • index cards

  • composition books

  • pocket folders (primary colors)

  • spiral notebooks (wide and college ruled, 1 subject)

  • small scissors (elementary school sized)

  • plastic pencil cases

  • backpacks (new or gently used)

  • TI-84 plus or other graphing calculators (new or gently used)

We also welcome gift cards from Walmart in increments of $25 or $50

Every year in August, the Back to School Team distributes school supply kits and a gift to our families with children. The students love getting new supplies to start the school year.  College students also receive a small kit and gift.  

We are thankful for our generous corporate and private donors who make this program possible.  

You can drop off your donations at Share's main entrance, door #8, located at 1367 Chain Bridge Road (McLean Baptist Church). Just look for the sheds outside. Alternatively, you can email us at info@shareofmclean.org to arrange for a donation drop-off. Remember, we accept school supplies year-round.  We also welcome gift cards from Walmart in increments of $25 or $50.
