HOW TO REGISTER for SHARE SERVICES:

Step 1:  Print the attached registration form (English version / Spanish version) or pick one up at the Share Registration desk. Share is located at 1367 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, VA 22101, and is open most Wednesday and Saturday mornings, 9:30 am - 12:00pm.  Check the Share Calendar for dates.  

 

Step 2: Complete and sign the registration form; bring proof of address documentation to the Share Registration desk.       

Head of Household

a.    Photo Id

b.    Two (2) proofs of address with name and dated within the last two (2) months

Examples: Virginia Driver’s license with current address, phone bill, utility bill, bank statement, government letter, rental lease, medical bill

Not Acceptable:  Promotional mail or Share mail

Household members 19 years or older

a.    One (1) proof of address (see examples above)

 

Students Only (Grade K-12 & College)

a.    One (1) proof of school attendance with the student’s name

Examples:  current report card (paper or electronic), free & reduced lunch letter, official Fairfax County document, SIS Parent View registration, college enrollment letter or email

 

   Step 3:  If approved, you may begin shopping at the pantry the same day

Share Pantry &
Clothing Room Policies

  1. SHARE clients are permitted to shop with us two times a month.

  2. Clients must provide a recent photo ID each time they visit the pantry.

  3. Clients may only shop for one family at a time. 

  4. Clients must follow the directions of SHARE volunteers.

  5. Clients must bring their own bags for groceries and clothing. Do not rely on SHARE to provide bags.

  6. Failure to comply with any of these policies may result in a client losing their privilege to shop at SHARE.
